Crochet parties are designed as standalone, single project sessions.
However, these is the ability to attend them as a series,
building on skills by completing them in the following order:
Square Rabbit, Marshmallow Monsters, Party Lights.

Square Rabbits

Learn the key techniques that will allow you to make your own crochet items with this simple pattern.

Duration: 3 hours
Minimum Age: 10
Participant rate: $25 per person

  • This workshop covers the basic crochet terminology and skills including reading patterns, basic stitches (chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet (US), turning chain) as well as how to professionally finish off a project.

    You will leave with one completed square rabbit toy and the confidence (as well as sufficient supplies) to create a second toy at home.

    What is included:

    Pattern and instruction sheets.

    All tools and supplies to make two square rabbit toys in a take home bag.

    Prerequisite skills

    No prior knowledge or skills required.

    Any prior knowledge of crochet skills is a bonus.This workshop covers the basic crochet terminology and skills including reading patterns, basic stitches (chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet (US), turning chain) as well as how to professionally finish off a project.

Marshmallow Monsters

Discover the enchanting world of amigurumi crochet and create your own adorable Marshmallow Monsters.

Duration: 3 hours
Minimum Age: 12
Participant rate: $25 per person

  • This workshop covers the essential terminology and skills used in amigurumi crochet including reading patterns, essential stitches (magic ring, slip stitch, single crochet (US), invisible increase and decrease stitches) as well as how to professionally finish off a project.

    By the end of the workshop, you will have completed one marshmallow monster and be equipped with the confidence and supplies to create a second monster at home.

    What is included:

    Pattern and instruction sheets. All tools and supplies to make two marshmallow monsters in a take home bag.

    Confidence using single crochet (US) and chain stitches.

Party Lights

Learn to crochet a beautiful string party light bunting that will brighten up any occasion.


Duration: 3 hours
Minimum Age: 12
Participant rate: $30 per person

  • This workshop is designed to teach you the essential terminology and skills needed for amigurumi,

    including: Reading patterns Essential stitches (magic ring, slip stitch, single crochet (US), invisible increase and decrease stitches) Professional finishing techniques

    What is included:

    Pattern and instruction sheets. All tools and supplies to make five light bulbs and a cable in a take home bag.

    Prerequisite skills

    Confidence using single crochet (US) and chain stitches.

    Prices for each Craft Party are calculated using a rate $50 p/hr for Workshop Instructor plus the participant rate charged per person attending.

    You will be quoted a price as part of the booking process. Payment is required to confirm the booking. ‍ ‍

    Due to the greater complexity of techniques Crochet Parties run at a smaller capacity.
